Degree: Ceramic Sciences and Engineering
Graduation Year: 2017

Fantastic and reliable college that helps you get your Engineering Sciences degree quick and easy! The class sizes are small which is a great benefit to any and all future engineers as it helps focus the curriculum on the students rather than a set schedule as other college professors fall into. Many of the professors are understanding of their student's situations and dilemmas and will seek to help in any way that they can, within reason of course. The courses are still tough and unforgivable, as is all engineering courses, but you can at least have a chance of surviving, here at CSUB.

Degree: Ceramic Sciences and Engineering
Graduation Year: 2018

This is a very small engineering program, which is great because it gives students the opportunity to really get to know their professors. There are a lot of clubs to get involved in. There is also a great opportunity for research. The engineering program is based off a mechanical engineering program and offers an emphasis in either management, petroleum, or agriculture.

Degree: Communications (Public Relations)
Graduation Year: 2012

CSUB was a great choice for achieving a solid degree without having to acquire large amounts of student loan debt! I had a great experience going to school at the extension campus! I would definitely recommend going there to get a degree that could be applied to a vast amount of career opportunities!

Degree: Communication and Media Studies, Other
Graduation Year: 2008

I loved the professors and the small extension campus of the Antelope Valley. The counselors helped me a lot as well. I would recommend California State University Bakersfield to anyone looking for an affordable college degree. The options for study were wide as well.

Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2017

The program was great over all but it lacked on the fact that there wasnt much help when it came to job search. Many of my class mates are still looking for jobs and most of use haven't found one. The courses taken at California state university Bakersfield were challenging

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2011

I personally think its a good campus for anyone who wants to pursue their undergraderate education. The class sizes are fairly small depending on the class but most of the teachers I've had classes with are great. They are always willing to help. Also, the campus is pretty safe.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2014

CSUB offers an affordable, quality education in the field of liberal studies and teaching. I obtained both my bachelors degree and teaching credential from this institution and would highly recommend both programs. The credential program covers a wide variety of topics and a range of necessary classes.

Degree: Mathematics Teacher Education
Graduation Year: 2001

I really enjoyed going to CSUB. The faculty was friendly and helpful. My advisor listened to me and helped me to get the best out of my education so that I could finish in a timely manner. The campus and grown a great deal since then but it still has that community feel to it. You will work hard for your degree but it is worth it. You end up having so much more than you expected going into the program.

Wonderful credential program. Good size school, not too big or small. Very clean campus and a quality education.

Degree: Liberal Studies

Good state college with more of a commuter feel. Not a lot of on campus life mostly because there wasn't a lot of on campus housing. That's slowly changing from what I've heard. There are brand new dorms now!
