"The Public Administration program at California State University, Northridge is a very exceptional program. You are taught and mentored by professionals who work in leadership, county, corporation and highly-ranked state positions. These individuals come with a wealth of knowledge and are ready to help prepare you for the world before you. The On-Campus program is designed to help you gain a great amount of knowledge in small increments. The program consist of 10 courses and one comprehensive examination. The courses are taken in 8-week periods (one course per 8 weeks, some students have completed two in an 8-week period) so you don't become strained from all the assignments. This structured program works well for individuals who work full-time. I highly recommend this program for individuals looking to expand their knowledge in the public administration field and gain a job within the field as working professionals."

"It's a good program which is taught between a mix of academics and current professionals who have experience in the fields they teach. The classes vary in format based on the instructor so you can't expect the same thing from class to class which can make it hard to plan for what to expect but it also keeps it new and from being a routine. The campus is nice but the parking is bad."

"The MPA Program is very arduous. It is refreshing to know the faculty care about us enough to challenge us and really give us an education that we deserve."

"I am currently enrolled as a student in the MPA Cohort program and I love the experience and knowledge I'm getting from this program. I had to stay close to my home for school and this was perfect! The tuition price is set so it won't go up or down once you start the program. This is great because when will it ever go down. With this program, you take one class at a time and the class is only for 2 months. So everything is fast paced, but you are able to concentrate and really understand that topic. This was a great fit for what I needed! Affordable and competitive."
