"The accounting program at Canisius is like no other. The professors and staff really work towards helping their students succeed and find jobs BEFORE they graduate. I was lucky enough to secure a position with a big four public accounting firm exiting my junior year which allowed me to have a job 2.5 years before graduation. I completed their 5 year bachelors and MBA program which allowed me to graduate with my bachelors in 4 years and complete a majority of the MBA requirements in my senior year, leaving only 5 MBA classes to be taken my 5th year. With the amount of classes I was taking my 5th year, I was able to focus on studying and taking the CPA exam in which I was completed before graduating with my MBA and more importantly, starting working full time. This program is unlike any other and I had a huge advantage over my entire starting class once working full time as my CPA exam was already completed."

"Canisius College provides an excellent environment for students. The class size is ideal for the learner that appreciates a close relationship with their professor. Having smaller class sizes also helps to forge strong friendships with the other students which is a major benefit for group projects. It helps to be surround by high caliber students as well, which is certainly what Canisius College is known to do. By surrounding yourself with other good students, you are more apt to achieve higher levels of success while minimizing the bad situations that can sometimes arise at a larger institution with less focus on ethics. And the facilities are exceptional. Each building is well interconnected allowing ample commuting between classes, especially during the winter. The campus is well positioned in the heart of the city of buffalo affording many opportunities for convenient and affordable housing as well as activities for the weekends. Buffalo is experiencing a strong economic growth that is favorable to millennial's who are seeking a career as well as a geographical diverse place to live. Not to mention the sense of Brotherly Love that each has for one another in the City of Buffalo. I can recall may times where the professors went above and beyond the classroom duties to teach the material during office hours. Additionally, there are many opportunities for seminar style courses that help to expose students to other topics of interest. I took advantage of one such seminar series which tremendously benefited my understanding of applying the material that I was studying to the real world."

"I received a great education. I felt very prepared entering the workforce after getting my Master's Degree at Canisius. In terms of reflecting back on fond memories, it was more of work experience because of the amount of work for each class. I didn't leave the school having any type of emotional tie like I did with my Undergraduate college."

"Animal Behavior, Ecology, and Conservation is a growing field and is highly praised nation-wide. At Canisius College, students within this major have many opportunities to travel and have internships, which will broaden their knowledge within the field as well as increase their job competitiveness. Professors are well educated, and build great bonds with students."

"Canisius College's blended Master's program offers the best of both worlds for a fairly new and challenging degree in Anthrpology/zoology. You get both the convenience of online courses with the personalized attention of an in-class course. By traveling to campus prior to each semester you get to know your classmates and professors fairly well before returning home and completing the online portion of the courses."

"Canisius College was the best decision for me. The school gave me a great education and many opportunities that I would not have received from any other college. I was in the classroom teaching by my sophomore year, which is very early for an Education Major. The classes are small and the professors are amazing and really know their students."

"I chose Canisius College Graduate School of Education for their outstanding reputation in producing superior teachers. As a Social Studies Education major, Canisius instilled in me a great wealth of knowledge and skills, from which I became a certified and highly qualified teacher. Their instruction on educational theory and teaching strategies, combined with their ability to place student teachers in great schools, have all provided me with the tools to be a superior teacher. As a teacher for six years now, Ive been able to educate and help countless students through some of the toughest courses available. I thank Canisius for properly preparing me for the classroom and recommend them to anyone pursuing a career in education."

"Canisius College offers students a unique experience both in the classroom and in the community. Students are required to complete a service learning component, which at first seems tedious, but is ultimately beneficial. Being able to apply academics and the Jesuit values to the community around you is completely fulfilling. In addition to giving back to the Buffalo area, students are required to complete courses that push you out of your comfort zone, enriching the learning experience. The low staff to student ratio allows students to build close relationships with professors and fellow students. My experience at Canisius has developed me into a well-rounded scholar, a professional, and has allowed me to build a strong moral compass. I would highly recommended this school to anyone looking to walk away with more than just a piece of paper."

"The CSPA program at Canisius College is top-notch, particularly if you're seeking a student affairs program that emphasizes practical experiences over research. The faculty are extremely student-focused and the program coordinator is highly respected in the field. The program is set up as a cohort, which is so helpful for peer support, motivation, and accountability. The program also offers great opportunities for graduate assistantships that contribute toward books and tuition. Each year, the students go to the ACPA national convention (registration is paid through the program), which is something unique to student affairs master's programs. Overall, Canisius and Buffalo are great places to study, live, and work - I highly recommend it!"

"It provided a well-rounded liberal arts education with the special attention and community spirit you can only find at a smaller college. It felt like everyone, from faculty to students, was part of a real community, and the professors were there to help you guide and maximize your education on a personal level."

"Canisius College was an exceptional school to study the natural sciences at. The college has a great team of full time and adjunct professors who are very well versed in their subject matter. There are plenty of opportunities for further education and research in all fields. The social aspect of Canisius College was also great. There are numerous clubs and athletic teams to participate on. I truly enjoyed my time at Canisius College."

"Effective online program knowledgeable professors,so satisfied with overall learning experience .the single big problem is the cost . The cost per credite is really too much,if they really want to continue offering this program ,they should revise their tuition."

"The Advanced Special Education program incorporated classes that are useful in the career of a teacher. I learned to understand standardized tests, such as achievement tests and intelligence tests. The program is comprised of classes that can be completed in one academic year, or the classes can be taken throughout multiple years. As a teacher in New York State, I am given 5 years to complete my Master's Degree. I was able to have this program fit comfortably in my life while I worked as a full-time teacher. The staff are incredibly supportive of their students and want to see them succeed. With small class sizes, you are able to develop relationships with other students. By networking with each other, you learn more than just the academia associated with the coursework."

"As I am beginning my Graduate Program at Canisius College, I couldn't imagine myself going anywhere else. I attended Canisius for my four years of undergraduate studies in Childhood/Special Education. While I knew I wanted to stay in the Buffalo, NY area, I could have chosen one of the many other schools that Buffalo has to offer. However, after the immense amount of support and dedication I received from the faculty and staff of the Education department the past four years, I couldn't fathom leaving the wonderful Canisius Community I've grown to love over the years. The knowledge and support that Canisius has to offer is why I know that this program was the right one for me in order to prepare me for my career in education. The pros significantly out weighed the cons in my decision to attend Canisius for another year for my Graduate studies. The significant downfall of Canisius would be the tuition, which I imagine is why so many other individuals do not have the chance to attend such a prestigious and rewarding institution. Unfortunately, its price to attend is very expensive, making it difficult for its students and families to attend. While I was fortunate enough to receive incredible financial aid during my undergraduate studies, I am now realizing how much more expensive graduate school and ultimately my dream of becoming a teacher is. Other than financial burdens, I am proud to continue my education at Canisius College. Go Griffs!"

"Great school with an excellent program i feel like i am learning a lot but the tuition is astronomical with little financial assistance. The school is in the city and the surrounding area is not the best i wouldn't feel comfortable walking around off campus at night. There is a lot of off campus houses around school however."
