"I found aspects of the program to be wonderful including flexibility, accessibility of most faculty, and my internship experiences. The capstone experience was. Faculty was negative. demeaning, and unprofessional. If someone were interested in pursuing a MPH, I would wholeheartedly recommend doing a program that is not online and one in which you can build a collequial community where faculty are full-time faculty, passionate about teaching - not working other jobs and teaching as a side gig."

"I love the flexibility of the online MPH program at Des Moines University. I have time to work while in school and attend classes in my own time. I do miss the personal connection of traditional school though. In all, DMU has provided me an opportunity to earn my master's degree from a CEPH accredited university, while being taught by passionate and caring professors."

"DMU's online MPH program is excellent. The coursework was relevant, interesting, and comprehensive. The professors are experts in the field, and very responsive to students. DMU's online program is exceptional, with an online learning website that is easy to navigate and the ability to provide video-taped lectures, immediate test results, and same time communication between students. If you're looking for a quality, reasonably priced, onlin education from an accredited MPH program, DMU is worth looking into."

"I like the flexibility of the MPH program at DMU. I can take classes both online and in person. The trimester layout means students can take more classes in a calendar year than with other programs."

"I have loved my time at DMU. I have been very impressed with the professionalism of the online course. I feel like the program is worth the time, effort and finance dedicated to it. I have learned a lot, enjoyed all of my teachers and felt support half way across the US. I highly recommend DMU online if attending a class setting is not available."

"The online MPH program is convenient for a student with a full-time professional job and volunteer commitments. The learning platform and use of technology encourages virtually meeting and working with a diverse group of master's students from around the globe. My fellow learners contribute much insight and experience to the coursework. I've found that many of the professors are a bit Iowa-centric when it comes to examples and experience. I think courses could integrate current events in public health more effectively during each semester. Des Moines University really seems to strive for excellence and encourages student participation. For a general MPH program, I think the DMU MPH is a great value and a worthwhile experience."

"DMU's MPH program is high quality. Instructors are professional and are passionate about their student's learning success. The program's fully online capability allow me to continue working full-time. The disadvantage of an online program is the missed opportunity to discuss lessons face-to-face with classmates and instructors."

"This is a good, online program. I did not rate the rest of the areas because I am not an Iowa resident. I would not be able to comment on the areas that do no apply to me. The faculty is very helpful and supportive. The curriculum is intense like any other campus based graduate program."

"This is an excellent program that you can complete entirely online, which was a huge perk for me. There are still deadlines and due dates so you are held accountable for your work. The internship and capstone courses really provide a good culminating overview of what you gain throughout the program."

"The program involves a nice mix of online classes and on-campus residencies. It is very challenging, but definitely doable for working adults. The program adds such a wealth of knowledge to my career in health care."

"The graduate program I am in is a positive experience because the curriculum being taught by the professors is very challenging and real life. They are setting us up for success and for that, I thank them. The graduate program I am in can be negative because I sometimes feel withdrawn from my courses, the professors, the other students, etc because it is taught solely online. The perk to this is that there is three required meeting times on campus for us all to get together and learn as well as put a face with the names we see online."

"I'm taking Healthcare Administration. The program was recently revamped to be mostly online. The year consists of 3 terms of 12 weeks each. That means you can take classes all year round without worrying about the courseload being too heavy or intense in the summer. You are also allowed to take up to 7 years to finish your degree."
