"Teachers- amazing Online- somewhat easy to navigate Getting started- easy, counselors were very attentive and helpful Asking for help or trying to leave? Radio silence. My first advisor dropped me without saying anything (I completely understand life happens and things come up) but my second advisor never sent me an email. I was given a week off of classes with no notice, I was put into classes without notice (which made me late + behind on assignments, I didn’t know I was in classes until I got an email to my personal account about weeks 3 & 6, keep in mind each class is 7 weeks long). My instructors were amazing and very understanding, my last even let me take some time to get caught up, gave me advice, and told me to keep proof of my emails and requests. When I asked to drop (personal reasons, could no longer be taking classes), they told me they couldn’t drop me because I was in the second week of class. And then I found out I’ve been withdrawn and have to pay the school because they withdrew me in the 6th week. The way I found out was through an email asking for money. Oh, and my entire first year was supposed to be free due to financial aid and scholarships. It’s not, and long before I withdrew they said I owe $30,000+ (which helped me decide to withdraw)."

"Attended this school July 2019 and wanted to take a break to save some money took two classes and was told that everything was good then later I looked at class schedule and had seen that I was signed up for over 10 classes recurring it was to my surprise that I had no idea that this was set up, I thought I signed up for 3 classes for starters I also found out that the school holds your financial aid checks, will send them back , and not tell you the correct information when receiving funds. They will lie to you it's not a good financial aid department be careful, ask questions, look at your student portal find out what you are being charged. I only asked how to read the award letter when calling and to make sure that I am understanding things correctly I have gotten hung up on, sighs, financial aid reps asking like they do not want to be at work and talking very fast rude and unprofessional."

"When it comes to going to school its all about figuring out what school your going to go to along with it being the best. The idea of just going to a certain university because of it reputation is a great aspect that is why you should go to Grand Canyon. This school has everything you could possibly need in order to maintain and finish your degree. The administrators are a great asset to you and helping you full fill your educational dreams and goals. The campus life from what I have experienced is a very close group even though it has thousands of students it still gives you the close atmosphere. As a high school student or anyone wanting to go to college I would pick this one over the others any day."

"Would not recommend! Campus is great, don't get me wrong. They will surely give you a great experience, but when it comes to your education..GOOD LUCK! The SSA's or councilors do not get back to you nor do they care once you do get a hold of them. Do not waste your time or money into this school. Go elsewhere! This is a warning before you get yourself into this mess!"

"When deciding on a college you want to make sure you are choosing the best school for you. I looked in too many different schools and did not have high expectations having previously attended online classes. From the first phone call and all the way through my program GCU has made MY education their priority. My advisors are always keeping in touch and helping out in any way they can. The teachers contact you at the start of each class to let you know they are available. There is help through tutoring offered at the school and multiple resources available. I have felt apart of the school even though I am online. I feel as though I have formed relationships with my advisors and classmates. This is not something easily accomplished through online education. College can be tough enough but trying to go through it alone is hard. I love how much help and support I received at GCU and couldn't be happier that I chose this school to help get my education degree."
