"GCU is a terrible school and I wish I would have done my research before starting here. Their school is overpriced and their staff are not the best. The only time I receive a call from this school is about money. They are very money hungry and does not try to hide it! They will call you on a Friday telling you you owe and trying to make you pay right away. I told them I will pay on Monday because they’re not going to rush me because anytime I call it goes to voicemail and I don’t receive a call back! Please do not go to school here as their curriculum sucks! The only good thing that I can say is that the professors typically grade pretty quick (within a week of submitting the assignments)."

"I have a Doctorate already and wanted and additional degree. I do not recommend this school for anyone. Ever heard of the 1980-1990’s universities mail order class degree mills? The online programs are the very same at this school, but worse. Instructors are not qualified or don’t give a darn as the class is an extra income. The tasks set forth to do are so vague and abstract that one is clueless as what is required. There is very little contact with instructors. There is no complain system intact. There is no “Dean”. All they have is student services who is useless. The school is nothing more than predatory seeking money. Not sure how they got or keep their accreditation. Spare yourself and go to a real university."

"I am an online student extremely happy with the program until the first of my final 3 classes. The directions provided by the instructors were not clear. I was an A student until my HCA-620. I understand that this class was to prepare me to enter upper management by learning how to write an effective business plan but the directions provided by the instructor was not clear, on several occasion I felt that she was "winging" it. On 2 different occasions I attempted to withdraw from the class since I was doing poorly and was advised to stick it out. I stayed in the class but ended up dropping out week 6. I was then told I could not withdraw because it too late. I re-enrolled for HCA-620 and am currently in week 1. Here we go again, the instructor did not provide clear instructions. The Capstone program is not well organized. As a nurse I do not have a significant amount of management experience in the business environment and I am dependent on the skills learned in the program. In the past I have recommended GCU to my co-workers and other who want to pursue management degrees but I have since gone back and warned them about HCA-620 and the lack of knowledge exhibited by the instructors. I am extremely disappointed about the lack of direction provided in this HCA-620 since until this class I have only had wonderful experiences. I am fearful of what is to come in my final 2 classes."

"Grand Canyon University (GCU) is by far the best school I have had the pleasure of being associated with. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking to further their education. I have only been there for a couple of classes thus far, but the level of instruction I have received has been superb. This is a Christian university so students need to be aware of that and if this is not something they feel comfortable with then this may not be their school, but know that because of the Christian values this school represents, they invest a tremendous amount into each and every student no matter what their religious views are. A outstanding school and I highly recommend."

"The pro of the program is the obvious benefits of online study. That includes time flexibility. The negatives are several: No access to directors Faculty is slow to respond to inquiries The assignment description and grading feedback is poorly done. Sometime there is no specific feedback. There is no career assistance or support. This program does not offer an internship or fellowship."

"So far I am new in the program, but my enrollment counselor has done very well to answer any questions and to keep me updated with anything I need to do. My initial course has helped prepare me well for my future workload and to stimulate thought and to educate myself and my fellow students on the expectations of the school and how to utilize the university website and writing resources and APA style guidelines (I am in an online program). The curriculum so far is based on servant leadership and leading in a way as to grow others and it has been a fantastic journey thus far. I also went and checked out the campus which is very state of the art and has great resources for students and has community outreach programs. The cons so far would be that the discussion forum times out quickly and that is so far the only negative. I have learned to save my work in the event that this occurs so that I may easily resubmit if need be."

"I had the worst experience with this school. Will never recommend this school to anyone. All they want is your money, doesn't even matter if you gpa is 1 they will still enroll you as long as they get paid."
