"I've had a great experience with this university. The instructors are great and always available for help. The online classes are easy to navigate. I would highly recommend this school to others. I'm very satisfied with the career services offered by the school."

"Entered the Masters of Public Health program. As with every other review - the beginning exchange was really positive. They were basically cheerleaders talking to you about how great this is and that is and how wonderful of a student and experience you are going to have. Through the admitting process you have an "admissions counselor" who says "If you need ANYTHING or have ANY problems you contact me first. Then you have a "program counselor" that tells you the same thing. Once admitted, the first course is basically a $1200 Comp I review. APA this and APA that. I was in the honors Comp I & II classes at my undergrad and they picked apart my papers that we were writing to no end. However, Moving to my second "class" - I received new that my uncle was dying and I drove to Chicago (8 hours away) to see him before he passed. I emailed all of my "counselors" and instructors to let them know what was going on. I missed a little over a week of classes and therefore wasn't going to make the "A" in the course that they wanted me to have. I tried to expain to everybody involved why I missed the classes and that I was sitting in a hospital watching my uncle die - I wasn't in the Bahamas saying the hell with my homework. I was dismissed from the program. Would I recommend? H*** no. Run away and fast. Find a different program."

"Grand Canyon university truly is a school with a smaller professor to student ratio even at the online level. I felt most of my MPH professors went above and beyond to engage and facilitate group discussions. They graded fairly while giving advice on how to improve one's mastery of grammar and comprehension. Every professor was respectful and quick to respond to emails. I am a proud GCU alumni!"

"The beauty of being apart of the Grand Canyon University Master's of Public Health online program is that I can go to school during the time that I have available and still be able to work. The coursework for each class is intense but manageable. All of the professors are helpful and respond right away, which is a big plus since I am not at campus to talk with them in person. A down side is that you do lose the personable feel that you get from a regular classroom, but Grand Canyon University works hard to combat that issue by requiring discussion questions and responses among the students as part of their curriculum. Overall I think this is a wonderful graduate program especially for individuals who are already working, have families, or those who cannot participate in a traditional master's program."

"I received my Master of Public Health from Grand Canyon University and I enjoyed the program. It was very academically challenging and placed emphasis on skills and knowledge that are pertinent to current health care issues. Because the program was very new there were not many students attending the program with me. I would have liked to work with more students and have more classes on campus, but the students I did interact with were wonderful and the faculty were amazing. I am very satisfied with my degree and thoroughly enjoyed my time at GCU."

"Grand Canyon University has been the best choice for me in choosing a Graduate Program. Everyone from admissions to enrollment counselor to the professors have been great to work with in preparing me for school and classwork. I have yet to experience anything to make me regret my choice in programs or schools."

"The graduate program is relatively challenging and affordable. The major flaw with the system is that it is not built on solidifying its strength and values for the ultimate benefit of the student. For example, I majored in Public Health, which is a great program; however, the school did not put-up more effort to accredit it with the body that will enhance its image. I guess, that is why the total cost of attending the program is much cheaper than any other one I had researched."
