"I am returning to school after retiring from 24-years of active duty service to the US Air Force. I’m transitioning into a highly competitive civilian workforce and attempting to secure myself for the many career challenges I will face. I’m confident a degree through Indiana University’s (IU) Kelley School of Business will help prepare me for these challenge. I’ve been a graduate student at IU for a year now and I have experienced more Pros than Cons. One of the Pros includes the flexibility of attending an online Graduate program from an accredited and well-known university. Kelley School of Business is a school that’s highly ranked in the nation. Their curriculum is very challenging and the instructors are professionals with extensive real-world experience in the courses they facilitate. Another Pro is the active involvement with other students online who possess current or previous experience in the topics covered. The technology and tools made available to allow students to connect regardless of where they are geographically located is phenomenal. The interaction and involvement is unlike any that I’ve seen or expected. The only Con about the program that I’m currently enrolled is I miss the old-school face-to-face interactions that I experienced throughout my undergraduate educational experience. This is not a fault of the school. It’s more a matter of need and accommodation for the non-traditional adult workforce returning to school who really need the online flexibility. Even with this Con, with the advent of social media and other networking tools and opportunities, the ability to stay connected is better than ever. Overall, this has been a great experience for me and I am very blessed and fortunate to have been accepted into this prestigious school and program. Go Hoosiers!!!"

"***Pros: great on-campus immersion weeks, flexibility - ability to customize program to fit your needs, high quality faculty who grade and provide feedback on assignments and exams themselves, study abroad opportunities, active student clubs and community, annual in-person networking events, enough group projects to meet lots of classmates, constantly improving, great value for a top 20 global brand, same degree as full-time program. Cons: you have to take initiative to network by joining student associations, attending networking events, participating more during group projects and immersion weeks - there are lots of opportunities for those who want to network, but you don't see your classmates everyday. ***Disclaimer: I am a current MBA & MS in Business Analytics student who started working for the Kelley Direct program in the middle of my MBA (as of 2014). I left my job in Chicago to go work for this program in Indiana because of the positive experience I had and am very happy I did."

"It is one of the best online programs in the world. The education is amazing. Career services for Kelley Direct program could be improved, as could financial aid and scholarship options. I am happy I went through the program and believe that I grew a lot professionally and personally from attending. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get a distance education. I think it is the best program out there for online MBA."

"I am enrolled in the Kelley Direct MBA program at Indiana University. I feel the online setting is a more realistic setting than a traditional classroom given today's global working environment. Students log in to weekly lecture sessions in which you can see and hear the professor who lectures and shares his screen, and answers any questions that come in on the chat. Students are involved in a lot of team work, just as in traditional MBA programs. The cost of attendance is rather high, but not unreasonable when considering highly ranked schools. The professors were recently ranked #1 in Bloomberg, definitely an earned ranking. Thus far it has been a great program."
