"IUPUI's graduate Museum Studies program has a lot to offer. The program focuses on hands-on community learning with just the right amount of theory to supplement. The classes span a wide breadth of the museum world, so you will come out ready to take on any task. There is also the opportunity to specialize in whatever aspect interests you most. The instructors are all very knowledgeable, most working in museums and teaching at the same time, and they are always willing to give you their time. Another plus for this program is the location. Indianapolis is home to many museums so there is plenty of opportunity for work, internships, and volunteering. The only real issue I have with this program is the lack of funding. They are a relatively new program and have yet to establish the kind of funding needed to help students cover the cost of tuition. The good news is that this is one of the least expensive museum studies programs out there, so even without the extra funding, it can still be pretty affordable. Overall, I'm 100% satisfied with choosing IUPUI's Museum Studies program for graduate education."

"The faculty will help with absolutely anything that they are able to. It is a small program so everybody gets to know each other quickly and will help with everything they can. Sometimes with so few students in the program it is hard to get a variety of classes but the advisor is more than happy to accommodate in any way possible."

"Pros: IUPUI allows you the opportunity to take courses from the medical school and the medical school staff in order to prepare you for medical school as well as increase the attractiveness of your application. The professors are very accessible and are willing to help you succeed. For the most part, the professors are able to separate their research with teaching. They actually care about teaching and their students doing well. They are also willing to help you achieve your future goals, no matter what those may be. Cons: There is a lot of work and sometimes the professors are hard to understand. While they care about teaching, sometimes they don't know how to do so effectively. There are very few scholarships available and funding is only available to Ph.D students or through research."

"McKinney Law has great professors and great support staff. I have had nothing but great experiences so far through school at McKinney Law. The access to resources for students is amazing. I have had repeated conversations with the Dean of the law school as he walks through campus. The professors are knowledgeable and very personal. I am proud to say that I attend McKinney Law."

"I enjoy my course since it is very specific and different from the rest. It is a multi-disciplinary course. The faculty is highly qualified and cutting edge technologies were available for our project work. The school is beautiful and located in downtown. I would definitely recommend it."

"This graduate program is very intensive. The JD program is very rigorous and time consuming. The MA in Philosophy is an interesting program that allows students the option of either pursuing a general philosophy degree or concentrating in biomedical ethics. I am pursuing the combined JD/MA which concentrates on Health Law and Biomedical Ethics. I am in the first year of the JD program, but from my experience so far I would say that this is an excellent program. The professors are fantastic and the faculty are friendly and very helpful. This school might not be as prestigious as Harvard or Yale, but it is a great school with many unique opportunities. I am participating this summer in the Chinese Summer Law Program which is hosted by this law school in conjunction with Renmin University in Beijing, China. This is just one of the amazing opportunities offered by this school. Overall, I would say this is a great school with many unique programs."

"For in-state tuition, a very good bargain compared to other programs. Not much diversity in my class, but the school as a whole is very diverse. Professors are very personal and willing to assist students as needed. Right in downtown Indianapolis, so plenty of transportation, housing, and social options."

"This program is what you make of it. The professors are willing to meet with you and form strong connections but it is up to the student to reach out. The same goes for the social aspect. Personally, I made great friends in this program because I was always looking for opportunities to join study groups as well as participating in social functions. Most people I am close to that completed this program with me have gone on to the professional school they were planning to and only a handful have not done anything since graduation. I do feel having this program on my CV has helped me gain acceptance to my professional school."

"The VCD program is great for professionals wanting to design solutions for all kind of problems within organizations. It is innovative and you can easily see how to apply the program contents to real life situations. The downside of the program is that most of the people don't even know how to define the core values of the program and there is ambiguity about its application."

"Our graduate program includes instructors with a high level of experience and knowledge about the field of criminal justice and public safety. However, having a faculty with a wider profession network would greatly benefit students seeking to start careers."

"People in this program or a school as a whole are not interested in mentoring or educating students. Even if you are in abusive environment, the school choose to defend a professor because of politics. Never recommend to choose this program."

"The program is very innovative and focuses on a field of study that is trending and has many possibilities of employment upon graduation. The downside is that the field of study is not clearly defined and its name lead students to think that it is about graphic design and/or multimedia when it doesn't even touch those fields."

"Since my graduate program is an upcoming field and not many people know about it I was apprehensive to select this field. But I made a right decision and this school has given me plenty of opportunities to enhance my portfolio in this field. Few years down the line this field will have immense influence in everyone's lives. Even though number of students are less and the internships/jobs are competitive in nature I am sure I will excel at what I'm doing."

"Many good professors, specifically teaching classes. However, a large amount of terrible advisers as well. Unfortunately, many of the good teaching professors don't take students for research assistants. Plus, the department does nothing to regulate or remove the terrible research advisers. Thus, the masters experience without thesis can be excellent. The overall Ph.D. experience is definitively sub-par."

"The best part about my graduate program is the accessibility of the Faculty and Staff. They are willing to help you achieve whatever goal you have set for yourself. Even with their busy schedule, they go out of their way to provide a infrastructure of support for their students. Another great facet of my program is the access to technology. Our campus has ton of technology that help with research, academics, and making school cheaper for students. I'd like to see our campus get more involved with downtown Indianapolis. With access to so many organizations right in downtown Indianapolis, I feel like a bigger effort could be spent collaborating on real projects, so students get some experience in the real world."

"Pros: They offer great classes and opportunity for those who choose to go for the graduate program, including paid internships and other job/career offers. Cons: The deadline for signing up for the graduate program is a bit short and some of the details on the required GPA is a little off. Not too much, but there should be an option for students who want to raise their GPA to the required 3.0 over the summer or the semester before the enter into the program, especially if the margin to the requirement is small enough (2.85 and higher) that one or two classes can raise it."
