"I absolutely LOVED my time at Lehigh. The campus is gorgeous- most notably the libraries and the mountaintop campus- and the bio curriculum & professors were awesome. I have zero regrets and nothing but good things to say about Lehigh- except the parking. The parking was kind of a pain. But aside from that, I can only endorse my alma mater heavily."

"Lehigh was a good school that provided plenty of opportunities to learn and get involved in anything your interested in. It has a big Greek scene with significant amounts of partying, but there's also substance free floors if you're not looking for the party scene."

"I think my program is great. I enjoy the smaller size. The University itself could work on making things a bit safer and accessible for grad students in general, but my department itself is very good."

"I would suggest that a student keep in close contact with his/her advisor and keep copies of EVERYTHING. Documentation and records of conversations and paperwork is essential. Lehigh provide many graduate assistance opportunities for students, which helps with financial aid, but it is not enough to cover all expenses."

"The program offers a great diversity of course and topics with many expert instructors. Financial aid is provided to first year students when available."

"The program itself is excellent. It has small classes and excellent instructors. However, the city where the university is located is not very safe. Living expenses is high."

"I really enjoyed the core classes of the program. I also am enjoying working on my thesis with a wonderful advisor! However, I wish there were more electives offered for graduate-level students in fields such as medical sociology. Due to the small size of the department, this was difficult."

"The best thing about the Biological Sciences department is collaboration between labs. Everyone has complete access to any instrument or technology available in other labs. All the faculties , staffs and grad students are very helpful. Most of us are supported by teaching assistantships. It takes a chunk of time away from our research. So for most of us, it takes more than 5 years to graduate."

"PhD in Molecular Biology in Lehigh is very competitive because of the courses that we have to take in the first two years and the qualifier exam. However, it has given me a sound background in science. Funding is guaranteed for 5 years, we have to work as a teaching assistant most of the time, a valuable experience if we want to work in academia. Every faculty and graduate student in the department is highly cooperative and helpful. The quality of research in my opinion is very good."

"I am a Certified School Nurse with a Master's of Education concentrating in School Health. The Pupil Services Certification will allow me to explore options for career advancement. The faculty at Lehigh University recognizes the value of a holistic approach to education and supports the need for professionals from various disciplines to explore educational leaderhip positions. The cost of this program is a definite drawback. However, I recognize the value of the location and reputation of Lehigh University.Read Less"
