Don't go here! Find a local program. The representative who signed me up lied multiple times, wish I had found this site before now. Was told I would have great room mates- Collegiate housing services will not help when they set you in an apartment with drug dealer, won't help when they give you a room mate who will not bath either. The school will not help you find a job during your schooling. She tells you "Go fill out apps". The teachers are only half there. If he has decided to quit, he stops teaching, half way through the month he stopped teaching us. The equipment we were too learn on was half missing so we never got proper education. Just don't do it.

I was so excited to begin at this school. They guaranteed me a job once finished and promised me a lot of financial assistance which would leave me owing barely anything. They also enticed me with Mothers Hours. I had one class per day, for a half day of schooling. This was perfect because I had an infant at hoe who was being watched by my great grandmother. I couldn't go for any more time at that time. So things were going ok. Although it was way to easy. The day before our tests the teachers would get up in front of the class and have us take notes. These notes were actually a complete test. It was every question on the test in the order it would be on the test. I literally only studied that on the way to school the next day and got 100% on every test. Then they decided to have a meeting and tell us that our hours were changing. It would no longer be a half day program, it would now be full day. I told them it was not what I signed up for and that it was not feasible with a small child at home. They told me that my contract stated that they could change the hours. I requested a leave of absence so I could figure it out. They denied me and I had to leave the school. Because I left early I lost all of my grant money and now have to pay back all of my tuition. I am in debt for a program in which they handed me the test questions the day before the test and changed the hours 3 months into school. I owe 13,000 for nothing. I lost my tax return this year for this school. I was also just reading some of these reviews. How is it that they say 4 star but when you read the review they tell you "this is why I gave 1 star"

The Absolute worst worst worst school ever! If you really want a job in the industry just sign up for ICAR and put your money in that. I went to Lincoln Tech for 4 months and it was terrible. Instructors not only like to tell you how great they are every second but really they haven't worked in the industry for a long time. Nothing to work on, they gave answers to the tests because all the kids do is watch the phones or listen to music. You are being set up for failure if you go here. They not only give you the answers but it doesn't matter because you're not being certified for anything at all. You can come out of that school and be an apprentice maybe. I left after being physically touched by an instructor, disrespected by the horrible staff and I spent more time reading magazines because the instructors don't have their stuff together and the material was 20yrs old that they teach. They didn't even have a back up instructor and I had to step in and instruct a class. If you're a veteran please don't waste your GI bill, I'm a retired Army MSG and I was shocked and appalled at how this school does business and how their instructors teach. After 4 months of nothing I left the school. I brought concerns to the Dean, Dept of Education, and the school President, they would rather have blinders on then fix the problem because every poor student is a paycheck. So, I found my own Body shop job and I'm a ICAR Certified Platinum Estimator that I did with no or training from Lincoln Tech. Please be aware of this place they are "for profit" for a reason.

I admire all of the staff at Lincoln Tech in Shelton,CT. They go above and beyond for their students, and potential students interested in attending. Every one is so helpful from admissions down to the front desk receptionist. When ever a student is in need whether it be help with a class, a family issue, etc. the staff is always ready to help and if they can not help personally they have resources in which you can turn to for help.

Aside from meeting some cool teachers and a couple of friends this school did nothing for me. Wasted 18 months of my life and not to mention the $10,000 debt that is now on my plate. They promised job placement, I talked to the lady ONE TIME and she set up ONE INTERVIEW which I obviously didn't get because I had no experience, after that I heard nothing from the school again. I even went to the place I did my 3 month internship with and got nothing!!! I work at a low paying job to support my child and couldn't even pay my loans which are now in default and I haven't seen a tax refund in over three years. DO NOT APPLY TO THIS SCHOOL...DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO A LOAN OR GRANT. They get paid regardless of what happens to you and you are not their problem.

This place is a joke.Dont do it for the love of God!! Dont waste ur time. I wasted a year of life at this place and they didn't even help me find a job! They don't teach you s*** and give random drug test which I got suspended for a month for a refusal. That bald f*** boy "pricipal" is an arrogant f*** boy worries about a check. The teachers s***** and half a** knew what they were doing. The secretary at the front building where auto mechanics is is an old rude hag. Don't do it I swear it is a scam for ur money. 25,000$$ -30,000$$

I am a current student at Indianapolis. I should have went to Ivy tech or UTI. These people do not care about you. The lady in the office is mean and talks down to you. They treat you like a kid. They say they are here to help but they don't. Some instructors are ok but always say they don't have the right equipment to train with. The equipment is falling apart as well as the dude in career services calls himself coach is nothing of a real coach. He is here for himself and his career and pushes you off to someone else when you need job help. Stay away this has not been a good experience for me and I am looking to transfer to UTI..
