"MIT is a place of endless opportunities, incredible peers, and top-quality academics. The work is challenging and borderline overwhelming at times, but because of that, everything I have encountered post-graduation seems easier in comparison. I would encourage all prospective students to think carefully about their values before attending MIT. If you have issues with balancing personal needs and academic goals, it is easy to work yourself sick here. Keeping a group of friends, taking a break from homework, and addressing your health are all key to having an enjoyable and successful time at this school."

"Attending MIT was the most difficult and most influencing thing that has ever happened to me in my life. There are hundreds and hundreds of student organizations, clubs, sports, professional societies, and research opportunities (even as undergraduates). The only limit to opportunity is what you make of it, and how much you can take on and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The entire school community is incredibly inclusive and supportive, and even while dealing with extremely difficult coursework and demands, it is the most worthwhile and rewarding experience imaginable."

"The environment at MIT is very intense and competitive but truly creates great opportunities for success by also being stimulating and challenging. Industrial and academic relations are excellent. Quality of education is definitely very high and even though the workload can be quite high, the overall satisfaction, feeling of accomplishment, and the new opportunities coming with an MIT degree justify the difficult moments along the way."

"The shuttles are not going everywhere and the workload is too high. But the quality is excellent."

"The cons are affordability of living, school use of technology, social life, transportation and financial aid for international students."

"The graduate program is amazing. But especially the networking at MIT is great, there are so many activities organized and you are really helped networking and searching for jobs. Method of teaching is different and really motivating. And all students try to achieve the best!"
