"So far in my experience with NYU, every aspect of it has been unbelievable. I was assisted in finding an internship, connecting with faculty and other students, and offered support during my transition."

"NYU Steinhardt is a fabulous school with a tremendous faculty. Although the cost of living is extremely high (along with the cost of tuition) the education received is invaluable."

"I am a prospective student at New York University. Even though it is difficult to afford living in New York the network not only travels nationally but internationally as well. I think it is work attending New York University because there are many opportunities available once you're a graduate."

"It's a vibrant community of people engaged in a diverse group of areas. The faculty is supportive. It's still trying to broaden its fields of study, so I hope to see it broaden even more in the following years."

"Steinhardt's M.A. in Art Education program offers immersive opportunities to learn the art of being a K-12 educator. Student teaching experiences ranging from public schools in dire need of creative outlets to the world's most selective private institutions paint a true picture of contrasts in education today, and will prepare you for any teaching environment you may encounter in the field. NYU is surrounded by a vibrant artistic community is nestled amongst museums and galleries that add to the enriching educational experience. The network and resources really follow through."

"This clinically based program is taught by well qualified professors to classrooms brimming with a diversely populated group of students. Through internships, lectures, and required readings students gain knowledge not only on underlying theories, but also on how to actually perform in the field."

"The only con I would say is the price. It's a bit expensive. The education is superb, all the faculty is really nice and accessible. The courses are also dynamic."

"This program was definitely the program for me from the academics to the genuine community, and I am so happy to be building my network within it. It's the people in the department that make it what it is. It's also in a city that is unparallelled in regards to the access to the arts, which is essential to my development but educationally and career-wise. The thing that is the most difficult about the program is the limited financial aid available for living in one of the most expensive areas in the country. It takes a lot of trust to take on significant student loan debt, and despite the great personal value this experience has to me, my loans are comprised of objective numbers that can greatly impact my experience after graduation."

"NYU's Global Affairs program has been challenging and rewarding. The expectations of the students are high and I wouldn't have it any other way. The academic, professional, and personal support provided is invaluable and adds to the greatness of the program as well as the school overall. The only true con is the cost of living but that's NYC in general and not necessarily a reflection of the school itself."

"The Food Studies program is a relatively new and unique program at New York University. Because of this the department is constantly working out the kinks of the program changing things around, sometimes causing feeling of disorganization. At the same time, this newness has also allowed for flexibility and allows for each student to create a schedule that works for them personally. The program encourages students to work or find internships but does not provide students with help in building resumes, interviewing, and professors do not really seem open to provide recommendations. This creates a challenge. Class within the Food Studies department are excellent, although sometimes quite large. Overall Food Studies is new program in a cutting edge field. Overtime, as the field becomes more defined the program will become more organized and sustainable."

"NYUSOM puts you in the middle of New York City and gives you lots of opportunities to meet doctors at many stages of their careers, new people, and gain new experiences. But it also leaves a lot up to the independent student and doesn't necessarily offer a lot of support freely. It is also a fairly competitive environment."

"The Silver School of Social is great in that it has various pathways to obtaining The MSW Degree. There are full time, part-time, and even extended programs available depending on what type of lifestyle you are living. One con about the program is the space where the classes are held. It would be great if there was a more modern space to take classes rather than having class at annexes."

"Faculty members are absolutely amazing. They care about our education; and help anyway they can to make sure that we don't feel overwhelmed and alone. The main problem with the program is that it is expensive."

"NYU is a fun school in the best location compared to all the other medical schools in New York City. The faculty really care about teaching and do a good job with the curriculum. Whatever it is you want to do in the field of medicine, you can find that opportunity here at NYU. It tends to attract a younger student population and there are many social events. For students who know what career path within medicine they would like to pursue, the three year MD pathway is an incredible opportunity."
