"The institution could not deliver what it so highly promoted, for their game design program! I can list a number of reasons: -no teacher the first week!! SO TECHNICALLY HE WAS ONLY GETTING COURSES FOR 2 weeks, so we technically were not into our 3 week of courses!!! When I eventually withdrew from there I was only allotted 70% of all my expenses back!! Like I received 3 full weeks of classes!! -no class for storytelling for 3 full weeks!! -teacher that showed up is not a game design instructor, he is a programmer!! -not school budget for software to be used for the program, using free open source sources software. Hutchinson Community College, could provide some of the best software out there for their students, as a community college. -technically I got no education whatsoever the entire time he was there!! -I was extremely disappointed in not being able to move forward in my education while there. -HAD WE KNOWN ALL THAT WE KNOW NOW, we would not have came there at all!! -THEY SHOULD NOT PROMOTE A PROGRAM THAT THEY CANNOT PROVIDE TO ITS FULLEST!!"

"Southwestern College graduate school is ideal for working adults. The online format allows adult learners to create their own schedule within each week to comply with each assignment deadline. The Professors work with each student as needed. Most of the students in my class were enlisted in the military and were stationed throughout the world. I recommend the graduate programs offered at Southwestern College to people who want flexibility."

"I enjoyed my experience at Southwestern College. The courses were fast paced and challenging, but manageable. I began attending when I was active duty in the military, and the instructors were extremely flexible. The classes are only 6 weeks long, which can be good and bad. It was beneficial to be able to get through my education quickly, but sometimes it felt like the classes were rushed and we did not have time to touch on everything that we could have. Towards the end of my education it seemed like a few of my instructors were not as committed as the rest and it was difficult to get constructive feedback, but that was the exception to the rule. All in all, I feel that I got a quality education from supportive instructors."

"I hold a Master's degree in Music and was searching for a university that would allow me to work and attend classes at the same time. I was lucky enough to find a job teaching K-12 Music at a local district, and was graciously accepted into the Master of Arts in Teaching Program at Southwestern - Professional Studies. It's convenient because the classes are online, and they provide good support those who are entering into the professional teaching world without any teaching experience like myself. The quality of professors at Southwestern is incomparable, and the classes manageable. However, since it is a private institution, it is very expensive. For someone like me, who already has student loans from two different degrees, the cost may be the straw that breaks the camel's back."

"Definitely worth the cost. I've made tons of connections through this school and am sure that I'll have great opportunities because of my time there."

"Pros - The Faculty are knowledgeable, supportive, inspiring and care about their students. Cons - Not many students in the same grad program."

"The benefit of Southwestern College is they are military friendly. I began classes in-classroom during my tour in Wichita, KS, but I was moved to Hawaii soon after enrollment. I didn't have to transfer any of my credits because SC allowed me to switch to their online program to complete me degree. As a result, I not only graduated with one bachelor's degree but two!"

"I would like it if the program was more interactive. I would also like it if Southwestern "beefed" up their blackboard, making it more easier for students to navigate"
