"For those speaking on Chapman, Brandman is soon to become apart of UMass. I would personally recommend my program to people but can't speak on any other degrees or programs. I've had great, helpful and knowledgeable Professors (many from Chapman) & OneStop/Financial aid are helpful. I will say that sometimes the bare minimum is assigned leaving the student to research a lot on their own, but that's not a problem for me as that's why I chose an online program. I have learned so much and it's been an independent journey, which I think is a problem for some people. If you don't like the minimum, DO MORE. If you feel you're not being challenged, challenge yourself. Nothing's stopping you. Any online program, YOU have to do the work. If you need a Professor to hold your hand, choose a different school/program."

"I hear a lot of people complain about non-responsive instructors and non-responsive financial aide staff, but I have honestly had the exact opposite experience. I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that I was an online student, but any time I emailed a financial aide advisor or instructor, I always got a response back within 24 hours. My only qualm is it seems as though many of the classes were graded without constructive criticism from the instructors and a few of my A's were way too easy to obtain. With that being said, I learned some important skills that have helped me become ready for the workforce and I enjoyed my experience at Brandman. I will be going back for my MWS with them as well."

"This school was awesome working with the GI Bill and Financial Aid. It did take until week 5/8 to receive the funds but One Stop always responded and let me know where I stood financially. They did try to give me student loans which I did not need so I had to fight that twice. It never went through so in the end they ended up cancelling the $11,000 in loans. The professors were almost always awesome except a few who treated lower level courses as if they were for PHD level courses. That was ridiculous and everyone knows who they are. I have loved this school and the social work program department since day 1. I would go here or my Masters program if they offered a MSW (which they are next fall but it is not accredited yet). I would recommend this school to anyone."

"I have attended Brandman for about 3 years. In the beginning, it was a great school and was easy for me to keep up with since I am a single mother with kids. I started having problems up until I was about to graduate. I found the professors that I was engaging with were quite rude, and didn't bother to listen to issues students might have. The person in charge of my program is very hard to get ahold of and apparently is the only decision making person for the program. Now I am not saying this is the professors fault but if it is difficult for students to get ahold of someone if they have an emergency issue! Hello Brandman hire more staff to assist your students who are paying about $3,000 for 2 classes! The professors hardly respond to discussion boards either making it difficult to discuss the topic for that week. I have also had issues with the financial aid department they lack customer service and are rude. They need to realize that without students they would not have a job! I do not recommend this school to anyone, which is quite sad since I had wanted to finish my masters here. I will be looking for a different school to attend for my Masters and my Doctoral degree."

"The school was not up front and forthcoming with fees that they charged. There was hardly ever an academic advisor available for assistance or when one was they could never answered any questions. There was always a lack of communication with the professors which caused me to score lower than normal on assignments. I was very unhappy with my overall educational experience. If University of Phoenix had a social work program I would've went there because they are well organized and helpful with academic achievements."

"Biggest mistake to switch from the online university I was attending to try Brandman."
