"It's an important way to learn the basic concepts in things like economics, statistics, communications, etc. that you need to understand to be an informed member of society. College also allows you to develop critical thinking skills and learn to analyze different opinions and worldviews."

"UNC Chapel Hill is an excellent school and the Masters in Public Health program is known to be one of the best in the nation. That being said, there are difficulties that come with that level of program - the students in your cohort are all the best and the brightest so gaining advancement with jobs, internships, and connections can prove difficult. The student services staff are extremely helpful and are always willing to help but you have to know what questions to ask and to whom to ask them. Overall, this program is going to provide an excellent education for a great value."

"Great program, very intelligent staff that knows how to teach in a proficient manner. I have nothing bad to say about one class I have taken through this program as it has been the best educational experience thus far."

"My program offers unbeaten education and experience for becoming a respected leader in the field of public health. The administrative departments such as the financial aid office are often a little slow in responding."
