"Walden University is an exemplary institution that provides rigor and relevance regarding scholar-practitioner development. The curriculum, instruction, and assessment experiences were stellar encouraging networking and learning beyond the pages of the texts. I was able to secure resources from the library, writing center, and career planning and development department throughout my journey. I attended other schools that paled in comparison to the experience at WaldenU. Walden is a hidden GEM that honors its commitment to social change and educating its students. #IAmWalden #MyWaldenU"

"Walden University is a huge scam, and if you are considering going to this school you should do your research and then choose another school. The tuition goes up every quarter (semester). You will not graduate within the time frame they promised, and because of that, will graduate with tremendous debt. If you are considering being a licensed therapist, go somewhere else because many state boards will not license you because of having a solely online education, and many companies will not hire you. Please beware because I wish someone had told me."

"Horrible college. They drag out the program until you are out of financial aims then when and if you graduate (I ended up having to go a year longer than told) they refuse to complete state Licensure documentation claiming you didn't have enough hours for your states required internship and suggest you return for another term to finish up those hours."

"I love the online program because it allows me to earn my PhD without taking time away from my family. Online learning is not for everyone, but Walden's online program is competitive and the classes are well worth it. I have learned so much in this program..."

"Walden University is an on-line university so some of the ratings did not apply. I felt I received a high quality education that was exciting and up to date on the latest issues related to the counseling profession. The professions went beyond the classwork to give additional information that helped in the course work. My decision to continue in the PHD program was based on admission process and the ease of having the courses pre-selected and the course material included in the tuition."
