"I think it is a time of growth. It needs some time to get to its full potential. Some teachers are still stuck on themselves."

"Very thorough review of subjects. I learned more from the classroom online then I did in a traditional classroom setting."

"Walden was a great place to achieve my master's degree while being able to work full time and maintain a personal life. The class schedule was challenging work wise but the teachers were great about making sure that assignments and due dates work around a working professional."

"Walden University is an online school that allowed you to complete your courses anywhere that had internet access. Even though I had flexibility, i wouldn't recommend it to others. It was extremely expensive and there was quite a few times I didn't have access to a teacher like I was supposed to. I tried talking to some administration about the issue and never got an answer back."

"I choose an online school due to my busy schedule when I had 2 jobs. The program itself is a good one a although I honestly struggled to keep up with my assignments because of work. The only thing I don't like is you have to have a 3.0 or better, you can not just "pass" with a C. In most schools that is a passing grade, with this school getting majority of "C"s can put you on academic probation. I guess in a way this makes the school great as well because it's their way of making you strive for greatness and a better overall . This school is great for on the go people like myself who is always busy I just suggest making sure you have execellent time management skills"

"It was fine, I liked learning in my classes. Unfortunately employers don't take the degree seriously so I have been unable to use it for anything."

"Walden's online school provided me with the best opportunity to get my Masters. The online structure did not interfere with work and was minimally disruptive to my home schedule."

"Very disappointed with Walden University. The teachers rarely contacted you and took a couple of weeks to review classwork. Was on payment plan with financial services. Without any notice through email or phone, sold my account to credit collection agency while I was making payments."

"I chose Walden for convenience. I was working full time, and raising three children. I started in the DBA program, but had such a hard time getting the dissertation committee/topic/research project worked out that I cut my losses and got an MBA. The courses were not well constructed, so the "professor" to use the term lightly, would pose questions and topics that were not easy to respond to. The courses seemed to be written and managed by people who had never, ever seen them from the other side. Instructors are very well paid for their efforts, and it is just a business for profit. It is not an esteemed university, in it for the greater good of humanity through education. It costs a fortune, and you essentially buy your degree. You will end up frustrated and angry, especially when they show you their expensive new commercials, and and ask you repeatedly how you are positively affecting the university with your expensive degree. I would love to know how the president and faculty are changing the world, but they never have to disclose that. Run, do not walk to another school."

"My MBA from Walden University has not only opened my eyes to a world of new business opportunities, but it taught me how to properly understand, assess and maximize the full potential of these opportunities. In addition to this, my degree has helped me earn multiple promotions since graduating, and has prepared me to go above and beyond the additional responsibilities that are asked of me. The flexible schedule and design of the courses are incredibly helpful, and ultimately gave me the ability to still work full time while studying. It is also a great format to improve your time management skills. I am lucky enough to work alongside business professionals with degrees from various ivy league institutions, all of which are held in higher regard than Walden, yet I am often the one in a leadership role in my current organization. I owe a great deal of my success to the degree I earned at Walden, and I am eternally grateful for that experience. I would recommend Walden to any person that has strong work ethic and is determined to improve his/her career for the long term."

"I decided to pursue an online MSN degree with Walden University. While I am not dissatisfied with my experience with Walden, it was quite challenging finding my own preceptors and not being able to physically access the school, instructors, classmates, etc. I successfully passed the FNP boards after completing the MSN, FNP program. If I could go back in time, I may have done things a little differently, but more so out of personal preference, not out of dissatisfaction with the program. Online programs offer a different way of learning and this should be kept in mind of those who are thinking about obtaining a degree through this route."
