"MBA was very educational and worth it. My down moment was actually at the beginning of the program, because it was my first time attending an online school, so finding where the prof' s instructions were located was a big deal for me. Even though I passed the orientation:) . Apart from that it was a Smooth sale after. All the instructor's answered all my questions at any time."

"Dear Colleague/ Students, I'm very disappointed with unethical behavior of Walden University seeking to exercise my First Amendment Rights - freedom of speech.. I have been approached by the 3rd CLASS ACTION SUIT PENDING I am work for a class action attorney specialist. He has I have read consistent and deplorable complaints in many reviews of Walden. Other comments appear obviously false and contrived. Our legal action is comprised of, so far, 32 former students ready to sign on confidentially file class action suit. If you can prove your poor treatment by email trails or other docs. I'm sorry if you got on the phone and argued with dishonesty business office personnel or faculty; I can't use the that a strong submission of concrete evidence. I'll need to take deposition to file in various courts from written exhibits with dates times, who you spoke and financial docs(very important). Do you want to a refund for service NOT delivered by Walden University and you paid for it. Where you subjected to illegal employees and illegal FASA money indiscretions, false marketing and faculty delay and diversionary and unethical educational tactics. This hard to imagine some these illegal financial tactics. Do you owe the Government money for jobs leads and promises made by Walden Intake employees, professors and employees. Respond to my post and we'll take the next step ans see how many former students can help me prove this unfair treatment. Do NOT include your name anonymous but, your story real. You vote helpful and we should start a blog. Counsel and former student"

"My experience was mostly positive with Walden until I started the Marketing class for my MBA. The professor was very disengaged and never followed through on his promises. I was unable to submit my Final Assignments through the portal and I called him and told him. He asked me to e-mail it to him seperately and that he would grade it. When the grades came out i saw that he never grades the actual assignment. I called him reminded him again. I called the school and told them as well. But nothing ever happened. They don't seem to care once they get the money out of you. Its a very impersonal experience. You are practically on your own. Lucky if you have a good professor, too bad if you don't. The school does not get involved ot take any responsibility,"

"I think college is very important to show that you are disciplined to study a subject for a period of time. It's not for everyone, but it can allow a person to learn a subject of interest for future research or employment."

"I received my MBA from Walden in 2014. I would have to say it has helped me a lot in getting better jobs, to have the words MBA on my CV. I moved to Asia where the MBA degree is highly respected, perhaps more so than elsewhere even. Any prospective MBA student should understand that you have to already be motivated towards business and management. The degree won't take the place of your own determination. However, it will give you added knowledge and open doors. It has for me anyway. Good luck on your path!"

"I guess I can't speak to some of the other programs that people are leaving poor reviews about, but my experience has been great. The teachers are professional and available to me when I need them. The material is what I expected from an MBA but exceeded my exceptions for an online course. The consolers have been knowledge and able to work with me when I needed to take a class off. I was able to take the class and then jump right back in when the next one started. The website works fine. If people are having issues with it, it is because they are using an outdated browser. I have even been able to use the website from my phone. Walden is more expensive than other online MBAs but the quality of the class is worth it. This is not a degree mill school. The grades you make are earned and not given. I was able to find the financial aide I needed and there was only as much hassle as you'd expect if you have ever applied for aide. They offer a discount for military as well. I will consider Walden for my DBA in the future and I highly recommend their MBA program."

"My experience here so far has been great - I am meeting students from all over the world, am engaging in topical and interesting discussions, and the workload can be challenging at times, but it is never boring. I truly feel that I am earning my MBA in classes taught by professionals, with peers who have perspectives that also assist me in making decisions regarding the work I want to do after I graduate."

"Walden is great at supporting you in so many ways from their career program to networking capabilities. I had to delay my course taking when I broke my wrist and they were right there for me with the professor being supportive. The downside is that access to getting online has been down lately quite often and it's making me nervous if this would happen when I have to submit an assignment. I'm sure the school would waive it if it's out of your control."

"Walden University should augment the learning opportunities online with real time video and other multimedia. The university claims to be "social change" -centric, but really should be focused more on current students, and their satisfaction with their programs, instead of lofty goals that make a good commercial. The course construction is not consistent; some courses are very well constructed, and others have big problems (as if no one ever tried them out before forcing students to use them). Faculty also seem to be teaching at 10's of online universities all at once, and do not seem to care that much about "this particular class". It would be better for students if they described their actual real world work experiences so students could learn from that."
