"Walden University is a great way for working adults to complete higher education on their own terms; with affordable, flexible classes and an online learning environment, it has been a great opportunity to pursue my education. I would recommend Walden to any working professional seeking to further their education."

"The program itself is good and pretty much equal to other schools (when comparing coursework with other schools via my colleagues). The support while you are actively enrolled is satisfactory. However, the support after graduation is poor. It is difficult and sometimes impossible to contact anyone for any type of assistance regarding education verification. Even when trying to use the "chat" feature, you are directed to a number that leaves you on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes- I haven't waited any longer than that so I am not sure if anyone ever answers. If I had to do this over again, I would definitely choose a school with better graduate support. It has affected my job prospects due to the delay and lack of communication."

"Walden University's online environment is dynamic and easy to navigate. Telephone support for technical issues or financial issues is available 24/7. Instructors are engaging in the online classroom and reply in a timely manner. Class expectations are clear."

"I just graduated on 2/14/2016 and took boards on 3/25/2016. The program was very time consuming and demanding. I learned so much. The hardest part it the program was finding my own clinical. It took me 26 months to complete the program. You have to put in the work in order to get what you need from the program. When it came to me taking my national certification I had no problem and the school is accredited."

"I definitely cannot recommend Walden University for completion of FNP or Acute Care NP, the field experience office is a nightmare to work with, frequent personnel changes add to the confusion and no one seems to know what is required from sites in contract negotiation. The student is not communicated with and when I have had communication with someone I received incorrect information. When I was setting up preceptors for clinical rotations many sites just refused to work with Walden, and when asked why, the response was generally always the affiliation agreement process. I very rarely get a response to emails sent from the school, and I have already invested quite a lot of money in this endeavor up to this point and feel I have no choice but to continue to pursue completion, however I caution anyone drawn in by their ease of acceptance and promises. There are a lot of better choices available."
