"This program is great because it is convenient it's online program. The down side is setting up my own practicum and the out of town residencies."

"Pros- It is very convenient completing my degree online. I also like the level of expertise exhibited by my professors. They are also very helping in assisting me through the process of completing my program and dissertation. Cons- The cost is very expensive and there are few options available for students to pay tuition."

"As it is online, it is as safe as you feel at home within your own community. The amazing aspect of this program is the lack of structure in major projects such as dissertation you are able to move toward making major changes in areas you a passionate about immediately if willing to put in the work."

"The pros is that the affordability of the Program is awesome as books are included and that means that after paying for classes I do not have to look for books and wait until they come this is a plus in itself."

"Walden University is a great school because it offers a lot of programs, such as health psychology and public policy, that other schools do not offer online. The professors are available to answer your questions and assist with homework. However, the professors often give too much homework. It can be very difficult to complete all of the homework, work full time and raise a family. Overall, I am pleased with my choice in selecting Walden University to pursue my Masters degree. I am excited to begin my courses."

"I enjoy the liberty of working at my own pace. The classroom discussions are stimulating for thought and provides a means for real world applications. I waited years to return to college because I prioritized the mental and emotional stability of my children. They are mature enough to allow me to peruse my personal goals. It took some time to relay the importance of having the opportunity to learn online. Students that earned degrees from "brick and mortar" schools rejected the method that I choose to continue but interacting with the same students, as we reason about current issues, has made the believers that Walden works."

"I feel the experience at Walden University has been outstanding!! The material really helped me get a broader understanding of the field I work in, and the professors are very knowledgeable in the areas they teach. The pros are great outcome of my educational aspects, and the cons consist of some work overload. But, at the end of the day... I would not have it any other way! Thanks Walden University!!"

"This is an excellent on-line program in Public health with a strong component in theory and great in the practicum area. The place where I have to apply in the real world what I have learned in the past"

"The work is what I would have expected from a traditional university. One has to be self motivated. No one is going to hold your hand. I the professors are committed to the program. I love Walden."

"The public policy program overlaps with some of the other programs, so there are diverse individuals with different backgrounds in your class. This makes for new scenarios and interesting studies."
