"I just graduated with my BS in Psychology. I went to community college for three years then transferred to Walden for the last two. The curriculum is challenging, but well worth it. The professors are professional and are highly educated in their field. I did have one major problem with grading with one professor, but the issue went to the dean and was resolved. I really feel like I earned my degree, and I am now pursuing my MS in Psychology through Walden. One downside-this school is expensive, but I still felt it was worth the money. Overall a very good University."

"The programs offered at Walden University online work well for students that can not attend a normal on campus program. The staff is generally very knowledgeable and respond to emails in a timely manner. In some cases the work load of classes is extensive, but they are typically research type classes. The discussion aspects of most classes is repetitive and can be time consuming with little additional information related to class progress. Overall Walden has provided me with an opportunity to obtain my Doctorate degree without having to sacrifice my current living arrangements. Walden is a great educational facility and should be considered when choosing an online university."

"I graduated with PhD in (MIS), and most of the instructors are knowledgeable. I gained employment as soon i graduated as an adjunct faculty, because of the degree from Walden. Walden cannot award you certificate if you do not merit it. Instructors were so kind."

"With working full time I am able to continue my studies in a masters degree in mental health counseling to further my education and career. I have found that Walden University meets the career and educational services for individuals who are working adults. The professors and advisors are available to their students when questions are needed regarding either their work load, regarding assignments, and/or financial aid services. I have found that Walden University has serviced my needs in being able to further my educational goals in being able to obtain a Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling and very satisfied in the services I have received thus far and would recommend them to other students."

"Walden University's online program in Mental Health Clinical Counseling requires diligence and dedication, as well as a high level of responsibility because students are on their own regarding research for class discussions, formal papers, and final projects. The expectation of quality, professional research and writing is high at this university. Students who complete this program will finish as better writers who are knowledgeable about the topics in order to contribute to the field, as well as positive social change, as scholar-practitioners. The only draw-back is that online learning may be more difficult for some due to the lack of constant, in-person, professor contact."

"This program is great for people who are already working or who have busy lives. The student support is wonderful. The work is very rigorous, so don't be fooled by it being an online program. I feel that I paid attention more, because I didn't have an instructor always in front of me to lean on."

"Attending Walden University allows me the flexibility needed to go back to school and complete my graduate degree. Although, it is not a typical classroom setting, the discussion requirements and teacher interaction provide me with the classroom feeling."

"I like how the program has been structured and planned weekly, it enables efficiency. The whole process could be challenging if one is unused to online learning."

"As an online student, a few of the categories for rating do not apply (living, campus safety, transportation). A "not applicable" option is needed. I'm learning a lot about through Walden experience. The professors I've had the privilege to follow have been very helpful and rapid in responding to my inquiries. So far, I haven't had any negative experiences. Time management has been my bear and that is through no fault of Walden. The subject matter is easily relatable to real life and work situations. I look forward to completing my program and continuing my efforts at social change by applying my new knowledge."

"The University and College are very helpful. The staff and professors are very helpful, always willing to interact with the students. A very diverse student and professor population giving students exposure to many different points of view leading to a great education experience. The education I have received is comparable or better than the education that some of my peers have received."

"Don't do it. You will regret it. The program starts out well and the support from the program disappears quickly at the end. After taking nearly 60 credits of courses with a 4.0 GPA they decided to add four more course to the curriculum. They offer no assistance with the capstone. You will be on your own and frustrated by the end it is a guarantee. Please allow me to save you the heartache and bills. Do your homework before making this investment."

"I went to Walden for my Masters degree. I was in the online accelerated Elementary Reading and Literacy Program. Overall, I loved the program. Yes, it was challenging and required you to put in the time. However, I worked full time teaching and went to school full time and was able to complete all my work so that my weekends were free. I thought the professors were very friendly, always responded quickly to e-mails and played an active role in student learning. I would highly recommend Walden, especially for the particular program I took. Great school. If I were to do it all over again I would make the same choice!"

"I am enjoying my graduate program because of the learning environment, critical thinking and application of the theories learned to real life for a better social change. The major challenge for me is the tuition fees for now."

"Please stay away from this school. All that these people care about is getting your money. the classes are too expensive and you will not learn anything. I'm so sorry that I did not listen when my colleagues warned me to stay away. Now I have thousands of debt in student loans and no degree to show for it. Please be warned."

"The all online Master of Social Work program at Walden University is quite pricey which is one con of the program. Pros include instant and frequent access to staff when needed. The University offers excellent support services and training to learn how to manage the whole online experience. The process to obtain financial aid has been easy so far as well."

"Walden is a very rigorous school and I'm learning a lot. Because of the rigor it takes discipline especially because it's an online program. However, because it's rigorous the program can be completed within 18 months. Great education, great value, great school!"

"After completing all my classroom requirements at Capella, I failed the comprehensive examination twice and was not allowed back in the school. RIDICULOUS!!!! After spending all that Cash on Capella!!! Walden accepted my credits and I did not lose sight of my educational goals because I want to make a difference in the world. While at Walden, I have decided to put my dreams of having a non-profit into action. My professors have been very supportive and have aligned me with several resources that will help me make my dream into a reality. Capella really sucks, but Walden really embraced my motives and educational ambitions."
