"Did not graduate but did enroll some years ago. After college counselor had me enrolled helped me with every thing once enrolled, I felt as if i no longer had support so I very like i was tricked into the school because i was promised to receive assistance and support and that never happened. So I withdrew from classes with a debt and nver heard fron them again besides sending bill (debt owed to them). Rhis is when foinf to school online was very new and not many schools were doing it."

Stay away and save your money - 5/6/2019
Degree: Clinical Psychology
Graduation Year: 2019
"This university is a fraud. I haven't been able to complete my MA in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in counseling because I couldn't find a field placement. When I contacted the school for assistance, I was provided with an excel sheet with site locations previous students have used. The locations (I checked within the state of NJ since that's where I'm from) were 2-4 hours away from my location. I was also told to google locations. When I did, I contacted the possible site locations & learned that universities within NJ like Rutgers, Montclair, and/or WPU student's get priority over a student from Walden who doesn't have a relationship with these possible site location. My time at Walden was a complete and utter waste. I spent over $40,000 on this fraudulent school. I don't understand how they continue to exist! I regret the moment I contacted them. Until this day, I'm unable to obtain my degree."

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology Primary Care)
Graduation Year: 2018
"This school lacks seriously in customer service, especially after one grads. I have been waiting for them to deliver docs to another state for endorsement. It is impossible to call in as they do not answer their phones and the representatives are really cocky in the chat feature and unable and unwilling to solve anything. I also had to pay twice for official transcripts (and wait 2 months) for them to be processed. Admission is a breeze, clinicals a headache, post grad communications (translation: once they milked you dry) are impossible and they don't give. Walden, understand this, this NP here is NEVER referring a single student to you, and those unfortunates misguided into thinking to attend I will turn around. Thank you."

STAY AWAY - 4/30/2019
Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2018
"This has got to be one of the worst colleges in existence. This university prolonged my degree for 14 years, and my dissertation for 7 years. I am a half million dollars in debt and still never finished my PhD because I was not able to find a practicum or internship site, and this university never placed me. They took my money all through college and once I was required to do my field work, they turned their backs and never provided a clinic. So now I am stuck with all this student loans debt and no degree. BEWARE, I AM SERIOUS STAY AWAY, OR YOU TOO WILL BE SORRY, AND WILL NEVER FINISH YOUR DEGREE. . ABSOLUTE WORST DECISION I EVERY MADE!!"

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2015
"The program in my opinion is designed to milk money from students. I managed to graduate after four years because I persevered. The Professors are ridiculous as many of my colleagues could not graduate after obtaining loans over $100,000 each. I do not recommend Walden for anybody, NOT even my enemy."

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017
"This University should have their accreditation revoked for not meeting disability accommodations for those in need as well as allowing racial discrimination and bullying from instructors. I attended it for two years because of two post shoulder surgeries and needed time to recovery, which took over six months. After the surgery I needed to attend physical therapy and could not type and needed to locate a good source of income to provide me with software to accommodate my needs. One year post graduation I was attending my 1st residency insulted by an instructor as well as her informing me that she would fail me if I did not meet her needs. Mind you, she did not even state Walden's academic requirements even with my disability accommodation. I was later informed that I would be withdrawn even with disability accommodations because I took a term off and reported the insulting instructor. WALDEN IS HORRIBLE."

Horrible - 3/13/2019
Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2019
"HORRIBLE. I was engaged in class until the last end of it and they could confirm over the phone the last day of participation was the end of January 2019, classes ended the beginning of February. Due to the participation "not being an assignment" it does not count and I was considered inactive with NO communication of this. I was told graded parts of the course are counted as participation (discussion is the last thing I posted on and did no count). I got rude emails back form my advisor, hung up and transferred from Financial Aid Department and told I owe them $1200 for the semester. It took them over a week to not get back to me about the concern. I received no emails or communication about being inactive, warning of becoming inactive or that I now owe them money. The course itself is set up messy and disorganized. The assignments are not geared to help students critical thinking and application."

"Walden University caters to students who are not able to attend a traditional brick and motor university. Walden University does not expect less of their students because it is an online university. You are expected to work hard and produce quality work. Each week there are discussion board posts, mini papers, and quizzes that have to be completed. Walden University also engages students in social responsibility. You have to write papers that connects with their mission of being socially responsible. I enjoyed my time at Walden University, it prepared me for my current position in Human Resources. I learned how to make ethically sound decisions, I am a strong writer, and I know how to apply policies and procedures as well as develop them for my department. I choose Walden for it's affordability, good reputation, and their commitment to social responsibility. Walden has delivered on it's promise to prepare me for my future career. It was flexible, my professors were knowledgeable and helpful. My academic advisor guided me through choosing classes and staying on track. I enthusiastically recommend Walden University to anyone who is looking to get their education online."
