"Washburn University has an outstanding graduate degree program for the school of social work. Many may not know that they offer an incentive for maintaining a high GPA in the 2nd half of the BSW program to qualify for a waiver of the first year of the graduate school program. This allows those that are successful in the undergraduate program to complete their graduate studies in 1 year and a summer semester versus attending a full 2 years of graduate school."

"College needs to be more affordable and provide more real life applications. The social work degree could have been more intensive."

"College is helpful when being used as a means to an end. In the instance of my own schooling, I knew that I needed an advanced degree to do what I wanted. I had applied at other schools prior to getting admitted to my school, but I am glad that I was able to get my degree from my college."

"Easy program! Some teachers aren't good with technology so you never know what your grades are until the end of the semester."

"My graduate program helped prepare me for the real world in terms of dealing with difficult clinical and ethical situations in my job and how to use my best judgement in various situations. I enjoyed the faculty as well as the atmosphere that Washburn provided."

"It's a very prestigious program, and I am thrilled to be a part of it, but it is not very affordable. Scholarships need to be available on more than a yearly basis!"

"This program is challenging but not too challenging. The teachers seem to understand we have life outside of the classroom. I have learned a lot this semester and enjoy my work."
