"I was accepted into the Certificate Program, but I was told by their own staff and professors that I will likely not be accepted for a Graduate Program. I have a GPA of 4.0, but professors still say that they don't know me well enough to give me recommendations for the Graduate Program. One professor even said, "hey, I'm not even sure I would be accepted if I applied!" I feel unsupported, and demotivated thanks to lack of cooperation from professors who are fine with giving me A's for my hard work in class, but not helping me progress further. All in all, classes can be great with dedicated professors who know the content or incredibly disorganized. It is hit or miss. Additionally, the Cybersecurity program has some course requirements that are not relevant to the career. The professor for the Risk Management class himself told me, "I'm not sure how this will help your career as a CS analyst." Apparently, he is not aware that his class is a requirement for the CS program. Very encouraging. Additionally, the Software Design class is very interesting on its own, but I am yet to understand how it will be helpful to a CS analyst. That is 2 courses right there, out of a total of 6, who might not contribute to your advancement in the CS field. The school has potential. Let's hope the administration gets their act in order. If an online option is being offered, students should not be treated differently for choosing it."
