"Yale offers an excellent undergraduate liberal arts program with abundant opportunities for the curious and ambitious. The student population is diverse in intellect and background. The architecture program, however, is far less satisfactory. Students are not prepared for a difficult profession."

"Yale as an architectural institution is an incredible name to have backing my career. I believe that education I am receiving reflects this long and respected history. The classes and professors that have been carefully selected portray a clear dedication to the education of architecture that Yale has been known for. I appreciate the work load and rigor of the schedule, the openness and willingness for faculty and assistants to offer advice or help, and the access that students have to a wide range of resources within the school. Some of the small downfalls might be the antiquated attitudes that are still being held on to tightly by the older generation. I believe this is changing with a new dean of the school and Yale's dedication to expand and grow in the name of society's chances. Now however, there is a slight denial of the more difficult aspects of the world and the challenges that it poses to architects approaching the working field. I do not doubt, despite this, that the student body is making great progress toward open mindedness and expansion."
