Salary and Debt by Major at Seattle University

We calculated a salary score for each of Seattle University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Seattle University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

I transferred from a local community college to Seattle University to pursue a bachelor's degree and this school has been nothing short of phenomenal. It is a smaller university, yet it has every experience that you would deem necessary. The facilities are great and it's right in the middle of multiple converging neighborhoods, so you get a well rounded view of how the rest of Seattle looks. The faculty are AMAZING! Advisors quickly know you by name, genuinely care about you and your education, and find ways... Read More

In the English and the Women and Gender Studies departments I found my people; the poets and the Chimamanda Ngozie Aditchie fans, the nerds, and the dreamers. The more I embraced community, the less I felt like a fraud. I had no idea that I would be embraced by these communities, even sought for my participation, becoming a writer and video director in the Writing Center, a new-student mentor, student representative, an author-host for the Search for Meaning Festival for the English department, getting to...
