Salary and Debt by Major at Northern Arizona University

We calculated a salary score for each of Northern Arizona University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Northern Arizona University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

Do not go to school here. It’s overpriced and you will not get a job in your field of study. Flagstaff is very expensive and not worth the money to live here. Professors carry their own agendas and the student is not part of it. Your money will be taken from you in a Disneyland fashion and you will be left broke with a degree and no job opportunities as flagstaff is not large and has little industry or future. Unless your a waiter. Veterans are second class citizens.

As beautiful as Flagstaff is, the programs at NAU are probably worse that my high school education. The advisors have no idea what they are talking about and therefore are replaced almost every year. In most cases, the students are smarter than the teachers and have to correct their mistakes in class. Organization is almost nonexistent within the university. If you're looking for a school that will decrease your knowledge and leave you with less brain cells from the time you're a freshman to the time you graduate,... Read More
