"The faculty at UTD is excellent. The requirements to enroll are getting harder every year, so if you are thinking about it, jump on it. Next year you might not qualify. The school is very competitive. The mean GMAT of accepted candidates is in the high 600s and the talent of the student body is evident. UT Dallas is an exciting place to be right now."

"The faculty handling the MS Marketing program are extremely knowledgeable and an absolute delight to converse with. They provide an enriching experience in the classroom and make you feel connected to the actual world of marketing. Being an international student, this program has definitely increased my knowledge and awareness of the country and various firms. I do not think there are cons related to this program. However, limited job opportunities is what an international student might have to face. There are several opportunities for students not requiring visa sponsorship."

"I am in my first semester of MS Marketing program and I really like the structured program being offered here with specific tracks which you can take in marketing. Course curriculum is good and it does offer current marketing topics industry exposure. However, a strong network with employers need to be developed so as to get opportunities for potential international candidates as well. As a whole, alumni base need to be leveraged so as to establish good industry network for school."

"The pros are that the program is very involved with the career management center and the various student groups on campus. The classes are challenging and the other graduate students are great resources for learning. The focus on group work really helps with developing the ability to work together. And there are plenty of job opportunities and internships. The competitions are great and the number of students in entrepreneurship is getting higher. FLA is definitely a very professional student orgnization that involes networking, busineee competition and other events. Last but not least, the professors are all very experienced and graduated from top ranking universities."

"UT Dallas is on a fast track. Its ranking has been improving every year since I came, and I did saw the change. Located in one of the most active areas in US, Richardson, or Dallas/ Fort Worth, offers a lot of oppotunity. As an international student, I start to love Texas and US from here. I could have gone to other universities, but I chose UT Dallas, and I feel fortunate that I have made a good choice. I rarely write reviews, but I must say AWESOME to my university."

"Too many Asian Guys( I'm also from Asia). Students quantity is bigger than classes quantity, you will always be in the waitlist or you can not choose a class you like. School of management should open more classes."

"The pros of my graduate program are 1. It is ranked as one of the best in the US for Management Information System. 2. The college management is very proactive in organizing Career Expo which greatly helps students. Also by initializing classes on how to improve your interview skills, resume writing and so on, there is a genuine effort in helping each and every graduate student The cons of studying Management in UT Dallas 1. Competition : Just the sheer number of students for its most popular course (Information Technology and Management) implies that its going to be extremely difficult to get GA/TA positions within JSOM. 2. Speaking as a Fall 2014 student, I felt the school was a little unprepared in anticipating the number of students. There were so many classes whose size had to be increased by almost 25% to accommodate the incoming students. 3. Diversity is literally non existent. There is just 2 types of students in JSOM, Indian and Chinese. Thats all !"

"The program is good, professor's are nice and helpful on both academic and job targeting. The school status is growing, but not fully there. It is hard to talk about the diversity here since American's are the minorities here and this does no good to ranking on getting jobs since most of students need sponsorship. But overall, UTD is a great university."

"Most of students here are Indians and Chinese. It is not a good atmosphere for cultural communication because people like gathering with others who come from the same country. It is harder for national students to be involved in American culture."

"I love my program because it allows me to use my own thinking and be creative. Explore ideas that I never got a chance to do in my under graduate program. The main challenge I am facing right now is the all new experience with the program since I come from a different background of study, too much work load that I am not used to but I am trying my best simply because I enjoy studying the program."

"The program is very good but there are very limited career opportunity. We have so many career expo but I have never seen Healthcare Company there. It was 2 in 100. In reality it means nothing as compared to other majors. I also talked to so many alumni and they also find their career opportunity by themselves. So University must give focus on this dark side too."
