"I truly feel I received a valuable education, with great faculty support, that will prepare me for a career. Gainesville is an affordable city to live I,n although, as with many universities, getting to and from campus can be difficult given limited parking."

"Strong program, supportive and collaborative environment, overall very satisfied. Could use some improvement in availability of financial and other such resources."

"One strong benefit of being a Health science Student at UF is the academic/training hospital associated with the University. This is an excellent resource to receive training opportunities that are rare and diverse. And the location allows for experiences serving both urban and rural patient populations."

"Some of the professors are amazing - others are not as dedicated to the graduate students. Just like any graduate program make sure that you check out the people that you want to work with before you come. Over all it's great to be a Florida Gator."

"Overall, the program is great. We're just a little limited in the resources department (funding for conference travel, printing and copying, etc.)."

"A great program, but the state has cut so much funding and the department is absolutely bleeding resources. The university has made it very hard to get a competitive social science degree."

"Strong department with strong researchers and mentors. As with other departments, competition for funding is fierce. This department should look to limit acceptance in the future to ensure those who are accepted into the program have better financial support."

"The program provides excellent clinical and research opportunities as well as supportive faculty. However, classes are taken over all four years in the program which seems a bit unnecessary. Also, the qualifying exam should be modified to be more beneficial to students' learning and eventual licensure as professional psychologists."

"This is my first semester of my PhD so there is still a lot of resources for me to familiarize myself with and get to know faculty and students to help with issues that may arise. One thing that is a large downside to this program is that even as TA/RA's we are responsible for school fees that were over $700 this semester. This should be waived for graduate students because we do not require the same use of facilities as undergraduates do."

"My adviser really makes my graduate program. He's invested in his students and makes sure we're competitive. He spends hours one-on-one with us every day- I've learned more from him in a few months than I learned in my entire undergraduate career."
